Happy Monday! We are off to Pope today and so excited. Be sure to ask your child tonight what he/she learned and experienced. Thanks for sending them in their gray shirts. We will board the bus immediately after art.
REMEMBER: Next week is Spring Break! *Invention Convention projects are due April 29. Students are creating their PowerPoint presentation in the computer lab, but the project is made at home. BE SURE to take pictures throughout the build for the PowerPoint. *This quarter students are assessed on knowledge of multiplication facts on the report card, so KEEP PRACTICING! THIS WEEK: Language Arts: They love Peter Pan and will finish it this week.It has been a wonderful resource to examine an author's craft and infer important points in a story. Students will also review how to read one genre and then write about the text using another genre. For example, they might read a narrative and then write an informational piece using its topic - or read an informational and write an opinion piece on that topic, etc. Math: This week and the week we return we will focus on problem solving, adding and subtracting 4 digit numbers, and reviewing all the standards they've learned this year. Science: The class is creating a big book titled Georgia A to Z as a culminating project for their study of the regions of Georgia. We will share this with our STEAM Buddies soon. Have a great week!
